On Saturday 19th September the Durrington Friends of St Barnabas Hospice held a Murder Mystery evening. The community centre was decorated for the 100th birthday party of Imelda Jackson. But before the birthday cake could be cut Imelda was murdered; her pills switched by one of the residents at the Happy Valley retirement home.
I sponsored the prizes for the winning table of detectives for this enjoyable evening. And a total of £551 was raised for the hospice.
