Had a great day yesterday working at the Findon Sheep Fair. I was sharing a pitch with Mark Stevens of Hands-on-Holistics who is a practitioner of the Dorn Method amongst other therapies. Mark and I both practise at Chrysalis Complementary Clinic in Arundel.
Together we were able to help quite a few of the fair visitors and they left our little marquee stress free. But Mark and I were quietly panicking that our tent was in danger of flying away in the wind that was blowing across the green. At one point we thought of offering a prize to the person who could predict where in Sussex our tent would land.
Apart from a brief visit to the show ring to watch the sheep dogs in action I had very little chance to wander around the fair. Once the first visitor had plucked up courage to have a treatment we were working solidly even after the other stall holders were starting to pack up.
