Chrysalis Therapy Supports MIND and the BACKCARE charity

chrysalis-backcareAs a culmination of Back Care Awareness week and to mark World Mental Health Day, Chrysalis Complementary Therapy are holding an open afternoon in aid of MIND and the BACKCARE charity on Saturday 10th October from 1.30-4.30pm. Rachel Lynne (practice manager) and her team would like to welcome you to the clinic where you can find information about all aspects of back care, free assessment sessions and mini-treatments.
Rachel Lynne, a qualified nurse and experienced therapist, said

“We are now more aware than ever that we need to take control of our health and there is so much information accessible on the internet that it can be confusing. We want to give people the chance to come and speak to a real person, discuss any concerns and experience therapeutic treatment”.

Rachel will be offering mini-Massages, Reflexology, Indian head massage and Reiki. Rachel has been a therapist for over 10 years and a qualified as a nurse in 2001. Since then, she has been successfully using ancient therapies to support and complement general medical treatments, firmly believing that you must address the root cause not just the symptom.

Chrysalis Shiatsu specialist Tony Brown will be demonstrating this ancient Japanese therapy and giving you the chance to experience it for yourself. Shiatsu has been used for thousands of years to promote good health and balance within the body and mind. It is based on the energy theory – energy flowing through the body which, when becoming blocked, manifests in ill health and disease.

DORN method Practitioner Mark Stevens will be introducing this exciting and relatively new form of therapy, similar to chiropractics and osteopathy. Dorn Method was developed in the 1970’s by the German lay-healer Dieter Dorn. It is an alternative therapy used to correct misalignments in the spinal column and other joints. It is related to chiropractic and osteopathy, although different in its practical application.

Chrysalis Psychotherapist Neda Vojdani will be available to you to answer any questions you have about talking therapies. Her individualized approach addresses a broad range of conditions encompassing the cessation of unwanted habits and behaviours, phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, addiction and Post Traumatic Disorder.

Refreshments will be available. All donations shared between Worthing MIND and the BACKCARE charity.
